"I often suffer from mild red light syndrome when recording; I struggle with songs that I have performed live many times. When recording with Paul I did 2 or 3 good takes in succession. He helped me feel relaxed so I felt comfortable with my playing. He has a fine ear for detail and made little tweaks to things that I hadn’t initially noticed. On one track there was a slight roughness to my voice that I couldn’t quite identify. Paul made some adjustments and it sounded right.

He understands all the technical stuff but doesn’t let it get in the way of an organic sound. I was able to work very quickly with Paul because he was taking care of the details so I could concentrate on my performance.
